How to See Who Blocked You on Instagram – 5 Ways to Check It.

Today our topic is how to check who blocked you on Instagram. I will share with you some simple and easy steps that will clear your mind and let you know whether your Instagram account is blocked from the other side.

Instagram, as you may know, does not notify you when someone blocks you. So don’t worry about this; we will learn in a very easy way without using help from a third-party app.

We will go inside the Instagram circle and find out the guaranteed way to check whether we are blocked or not. So, without wasting any time, let’s get started.

Here are five easy-to-understand ways that will fully let you know if you are blocked or not.

1) The Search Bar Doesn’t Find Their Account

This is the first way on my list. If you search for their name in the Instagram search bar, their profile will not appear on your account.

And on the other hand, if you search for the same account in your other profile or a friend’s account and they have seen it, you can’t see it on your account.

Then, it is possible you have been blocked from the user side.

So, take two accounts. One is your block, and the second is a new account. and put the username in the search bar.

If you find the profile from the new account, your blocked account can’t see it. This means that you are blocked.

2) No Following, Followers or Posts Show.

  • When you search for an account that you want to check, is it blocked or not? You will see some options.
  • There is a message on Instagram saying “Sorry This Page Isn’t Available.”
  • You can’t see their posts and their Basis Information, Like Their Followers, Following, etc.
  • Sometimes you will see their profile picture and sometimes are not. But If all information is not shown, then unfortunately you have been blocked from the second side.
  • If their account will be private and they block you from the private account, then it’s very possible you did not get their account in the search bar.

3) Checking By Link

By using the link, you can easily know if your account is blocked or not.

Two ways to check your account using the link are given below:

  1. If the main profile link is not shown when you log in and they show “Sorry this page isn’t available” then it is very possible you have been blocked.
  2. Now log out of your account and paste their profile link in the new tab. Now, If their profile has been shown then you can understand that you are blocked.

Note: If you see “Sorry this page isn’t available” both times you log in and log out. Then perhaps their account has been deactivated or deleted.

4) Follow the Account Again

This is also a great way to check if you are blocked or not. You can check by following the account again.

They will clearly let you know if you are blocked or not.

Search the names in the search bar and follow them again. If you follow them and Instagram responds by showing you as a follower again, then this is also a signal that you are blocked.

Your request will be taken care of, and Instagram will let you know that you need to follow them again. They show the “Follow” button.

5) Their Account Name Will Be Changed to “Instagram User.”

This is also a way to check if you are blocked or not.

If you click on their profile and you see a place named “Instagram User,” then maybe you have been blocked from the person’s side.

Yes! This is also shown when a user deletes their account.

However, implement all of these ways as well as this; see this name. If you see the same thing like this, then you have been blocked from the opposite side.
